A story of new beginnings
At the heart of MinglMe lies a personal story that reflects many people's journey toward self-discovery. It's a story about courage, curiosity, and the desire to create something meaningful for others in similar situations.
An unexpected turn became the start of something magical
Every great idea starts with a personal "aha!" moment. For MinglMe, it began when our founder Olga found herself starting an unexpected new chapter in 2021. After 25 years of marriage and three wonderful kids, she was suddenly navigating the modern dating world - and wow, was it different from what she remembered!
Like so many others, she found herself asking: "Who am I now? What brings me joy? And how do I meet someone who gets the real me?" These questions sparked something bigger than just a personal journey.
From frustration to innovation
As a UX designer, Olga knew there had to be a better way. Through heart-to-heart conversations with other singles and diving deep into the world of modern dating, she discovered something important: most dating apps were missing the point entirely. They were turning meaningful connections into a shopping experience!
Even after finding her own love story through a dating app, Olga couldn't shake the feeling that singles deserved better. She dreamed of creating something that would bring back the magic of real-life connections while helping people feel confident and excited about dating again.
Making dating joyful again
That's how MinglMe was born - a place where connections happen naturally through shared experiences and genuine moments. No more awkward coffee dates or endless small talk. Instead, we're creating spaces where real chemistry can spark while you're actually having fun!
